La Jolla, CA // Nicole + Chris

2019-04-11_0112.jpg

Trying to sum up the right words here about this amazing Southern California wedding… but I just keep coming up with the same thing I say every time I share photos these days. I am so blessed. Seriously! To meet couples like Chris and Nicole who share a passion for life together and document that love on one of the best days of their lives.. I am the lucky one!

I admire their values, the love and respect they have for their families and friends, their adventurous sprits that takes them all over the world, their appreciation for art, and don’t get me started on their amazing sense of fashion. I think these photos will be enough evidence of all these things I’ve mentioned. Chris and Nicole, you made my job SO easy. Truly. Thank you for bringing me out to the West Coast for this amazing day. It is one that I will cherish for years to come. All the love to you both and I already know you are having an amazing first adventure as husband and wife in Japan! Enjoy this little (big) blog post of your wedding day!

Logan + Tommy // 35mm film

2019-10-22_0027.jpg

This was my first film shoot with my new 35mm camera! I sold my Pentax645n for a cheap Canon Elan7 off of Ebay about a month ago. I loved my Pentax, but creatively I was ready to try something different! I also missed shooting faster. (No such thing with film unless you have a lot of money and have an assistant to switch out your rolls!) But I knew that with 35mm film I could shoot with a more documentary approach. I've shot on the bayside of Assateague a ton but never like this. This was a personal shoot I'd been envisioning for awhile and I couldn't have asked for two better people to join me <3 Thank you Logan and Tommy!!
